- Whats new in Doorway version 2.22.
-
- You can use the SYS parameter with non-standard com ports now by using
- DOORWAY SYS:XXXX:I, where XXXX is the 4 digit hex address of the com port
- and the I is the irq.
-
- A switch to reboot on carrier loss has been added. It is the /RB switch.
- If you are running under Desqview, you should use th /19 switch if using the
- /RB switch.
-
- /T: switch can now trap more than one character per switch.
-
- Direct screen writes will now always start at the top of the screen.
-
- Added Digiboard support. Use COMXD or SYSD to indicate you are usign a
- Digiboard. (The X is the com port number)
-
- Added a /J switch to control scrolling. Default is 5. Basically this is
- the number of lines which have to match after a scroll for DOORWAY to scroll
- the remote screen.
-
- DOORWAY announces its entrance with an ESC[=255h and it's exit with a ESC[=255l
- now. This allows other com programs to automatically enter and exit DOORWAY
- mode.
-
- Fixed where DOORWAY will now work with DOS EDIT and other programs which
- required an INT 9 to read the keyboard buffer.
-
- Added 16550 support to both DOORWAY and DWCOMM.
-
- Fixed problem where high intensity was being interpreted as blinnk on some
- programs.
-
- Fixed problem where DOORWAY would not get turned back on by DSZ if using a
- non standard port.
-
- Added a /NCD switch. This switch is for no carrier delay. It is intended for
- null modems where a short CD drop is used to terminate the connection.
-
- Changed the shell to dos to force command.com to use the full environment size.
-
- Added the ability for DOORWAY to stuff the keyboard buffer with a definable
- character sequence when carrier is lost. This uses the /*: switch.
-
- Added tracking of locked files, so DOORWAY will unlock them if aborting
- externally.
-
- Added the ability for DOORWAY to read a configuration file. Parameters
- can be in the configuration file or on the command line.
-
- Added a /FC switch to make DOORWAY ignore carrier loss.
